About
us |
A.E Booth
& Son was established in 1934 by Albert Booth in a
workshop at Chesson Road in Fulham, specialising in the
restoration of Antique Furniture. In the mid sixties the
business moved to Ewell Village. Between 1985 and May
2002 his son David ran the business. Now it is run by
Ann Booth and Paul Day from Hook, Chessington.
We offer a specialist service in the restoration of Antique
Furniture. We also repair Reproduction and Modern Furniture.
We undertake Polishing, both traditional and modern finishes,
Upholstery, we carry a large range of upholstery pattern
books and trimmings. Leathering, gilding, turning, caning
and rushing. We undertake the repair of clock movements
and the lining of display cabinets. |

have over the years acquired a large selection of period,
quality timbers and veneers, that make for excellent colour
and figure matches, so important in the restoration of
your furniture. We can also apply the necessary brass
work for your furniture, where appropriate.
We undertake both private and insurance work and offer
free estimates for all local calls.
